ELE361L @ TOBB ETU

Welcome to the webpage for ELE361L course at TOBB ETU. Here you'll find general information about the course.

ELE361L Course addresses Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for Radio Frequency (RF) from practical point of view. Labs are described in the following pages. The labs are based on Software Defined Radios (SDR). We will use receive-only SDR, RTL-SDR, to directly capture some segment of the RF spectrum, and save the raw data (IQ data) to your computer. Along with RTL-SDR, software radio toolkit GNU Radio will be introduced just at the beginning of the course. We will use it in our later labs because it is a great tool to teach communication systems. Some fundamental DSP concepts will be covered but not in detail. This course will accompany the main DSP/communication courses. So it is important that student take preliminary courses before. Python will be used as programming language throughout the course. We will develop our algorithms in Python to process and demodulate IQ records.
